Did You Know?
Boris tries to run and bark in his sleep. He dreams a lot and when he is dreaming his little paws move like he’s chasing a squirrel or bird. At the same time he is trying to bark at whatever he is chasing. It really is funny watching him do this while he is so sound asleep.
Where did you get Boris and When?
Boris is our rescue dog, we found him in Marlblehead from a woman that had two other huskies, one was Boris’s sister Tasha and the other was an old guy. She was going though a divorce and could not take care of him and his sister. We took him in July 2008.
Funny moment or story:
The first time Boris went swimming in John’s Pond he reluctantly put his little paws in the water after being dragged to the water’s edge. Then he thought “This is not too bad”. He proceeded to jump right in and has loved the water ever since.

In fact, his owners have trouble keep him out of the water. Another funny thing Boris does is jump around in circles while he is waiting for dinner. He barks loudly at Kosmo and his dad Dale. Now if they could only get him to do that after he dinner, maybe he would burn off the calories!
Dog Running with CapeK9Cardio
Boris has been running with CapeK9Cardio for several months. He’s used our pet sitting service and has attended our dog training class with Joe the Dog Man. Boris is a well behaved, loving dog with an adventurous side. He starts off each run by trying to go as fast as he can. He loves to run after wildlife and always tries to convince me to allow a “quick dip” in John’s Pond, half way through our run. In the fall he loves to run through leaf piles, and in the winter he tries to get me out on the ice! He is a blast to run with and always brightens my day. Congratulations Boris, you are CapeK9Cardio’s Cape Cod Dog of the Month!

Hey Jason – It’s me Boris! Thanks for giving me this honor and I really enjoy our time together. Keep up the good work, looks like my workouts are keeping you in shape:-)
Boris is such a furry handsome Siberian Husky!
